Antonio Giovinazzi secured a stunning pole position in the World Endurance Championship qualifying at Austin, returning Ferrari to the front thanks to a lap time of 1 minute and 52.445 seconds.

The Italian driver matched the exact same reference time set by Jack Aitken in the number 38 Cadillac.

Because Giovinazzi posted his time earlier, priority went to the number 51 499P, marking their second pole of the season and Ferrari's third consecutive pole at the Circuit of the Americas.

This result hands a crucial bonus point to the number 51 crew as they chase the championship leaders in the fiercely competitive endurance series.

In the LMGT3 class, pole position went to the number 23 Aston Martin of Heart of Racing, with Eduardo Barrichello setting the pace.

Racing fans can look forward to the main event with anticipation as teams prepare for a demanding and strategic race ahead.
