Models integrated into this program include new generation releases such as the iX3, i3, X5, and 7 Series, with upcoming model updates and future releases also slated for inclusion. BMW emphasizes that participation in the data-sharing initiative remains entirely contingent upon explicit customer consent and strict adherence to regional privacy frameworks.

According to the German automaker, data collection is restricted to specific traffic scenarios that offer high value for system development, including near-collision avoidance, emergency braking activations, and sudden driver evasive maneuvers. The system captures exterior surroundings, environmental sensor metrics, and core driving dynamics such as speed and steering angle.

To address consumer privacy concerns, the program incorporates strict protocols, such as immediate Vehicle Identification Number deletion upon transmission and a maximum limit of 120 seconds of unaltered footage per event. Furthermore, authorized personnel reviewing recordings must utilize automated blurring tools to obscure surrounding faces and license plates.
