George Russell secured the first Grand Slam of his career with a commanding performance at the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku. The Mercedes driver claimed pole position, led every lap from lights to flag, and set the fastest lap of the race to narrow his teammate's championship lead.
"I think it is probably my first Grand Slam in Formula 1 and, for sure, the most dominant weekend I have had in my career, so that has come at a really great moment," said Russell reflecting on his flawless weekend.
