Italian auto mechanic Andrea Marazzi has officially secured a spot in automotive history after transforming a classic city hatchback into the world's narrowest car, measuring less than two feet wide. The vehicle, affectionately dubbed the Panda per Uno, pushes custom vehicle engineering to extreme lengths by slicing the original width down to a mere 1 foot, 7.6 inches.
Marazzi utilized a 1993 model sourced from his family's auto demolition business in Bagnolo Cremasco to construct his record-breaking vehicle. By removing the doors and side panels, cutting and rewelding the central chassis, and fabricating custom bodywork, he created a single-seat marvel that is fully drivable and remarkably easy to park in cramped spaces.
