Genesis is elevating its luxury SUV portfolio for the 2027 model year, introducing extensive trim revisions, fresh styling details, and a major push toward electrification and performance. Familiar models across the range are receiving equipment updates to strengthen the brand's competitive edge.

The GV60 electric crossover is highlighted by the arrival of the high-performance Magma variant, replacing the previous Performance trim with advanced chassis upgrades and greater power. Meanwhile, the gas-powered GV70 and GV80 models feature streamlined packages, enhanced interior amenities, and revised exterior palettes.

Technological advancements are also taking center stage as Genesis prepares to launch its first extended-range electric vehicle and a next-generation hybrid system. The upcoming GV80 Hybrid promises significant power gains and improved efficiency, leading the brand's broader powertrain diversification.

Looking further ahead, Genesis is set to enter the full-size three-row market with the all-new GV90 electric flagship in 2028. Featuring cutting-edge 800-volt charging and ultra-luxury configurations, the new flagship underscores the brand's ambitious growth trajectory.

The upcoming GV90 flagship will serve as the pinnacle of the Genesis electric vehicle lineup, utilizing a dedicated eMP platform and a 123.5-kWh battery. Offering over 310 miles of range, the full-size SUV aims to redefine electric luxury with sophisticated air suspension and four-wheel steering.

In addition to pure electric vehicles, Genesis is pushing forward with extended-range electric vehicle technology designed to deliver extensive driving range by using a gasoline engine as an onboard generator. This innovative approach addresses common consumer concerns regarding long-distance travel and charging infrastructure.

The brand's hybrid strategy kicks off with the GV80 Hybrid, combining a turbocharged four-cylinder engine with electric assistance to increase output significantly over standard models. This system introduces regenerative braking and advanced predictive energy management to the luxury utility segment.

Through these diverse powertrain options and comprehensive design evolutions, Genesis continues to solidify its position as a major force in the global luxury automotive market.
