Verstappen crossed the line in second place, followed closely by his Red Bull teammate Daniel Ricciardo, while Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas recovered from a grid penalty to finish fourth ahead of Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.
With this victory, Hamilton stretched his lead in the Drivers Championship standings to 306 points, putting him firmly in control with only a handful of rounds remaining in the 2017 season.
